Upcoming Seniors Events
December 6, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.: Annual Christmas Party and Potluck Brunch. Each person please bring a main dish and a side dish. Guests welcome! If you, or your guest, wish to participate in the gift exchange bring a $5 to $10 gift to exchange with someone of your gender.
Who:
Sadorus Seniors is an informal organization of people, most of whom live in and around Sadorus, Illinois.
Anybody who cares to come to any meeting is welcome!
There are no official membership requirements or dues.
If you can be there, you are welcome!
What:
Have some coffee and doughnuts, visit with friends, make new ones, play bingo, learn new things.
Where:
Village of Sadorus Senior Citizen Hall,
115 East Market Street. The Village of Sadorus Senior Citizen Hall is located at 115 East Market Street,
on the South side of the street, between Beaird Insurance and the Veterans Memorial.
The Senior Center is the East/lefthand door as you face the front of the building.
When:
Twice a month, first and third Tuesday, 9:00 AM 'til 10:00 AM.
Changes in meeting days or times and
special event information will be posted here
and at the Post Offices in Sadorus and Tolono.
Why:
To get out of the house, to visit with friends and neighbors.
Meeting Schedule For 2011
Usually the first meeting of the month we will have a guest speaker or other special program.
At the second meeting of the month we will probably visit and play bingo.
Please bring a couple of non-perishable food items or other useful items for the prize pool.
